Document Management System

• The MediStreams on-line document archive makes searching for patient data simple. Each EOB is stored and indexed in our archive so that when you type a patient name or account number, you will be able to quickly view all documents for that patient. We will even create EOB images from your ERAs!

Reconciliation

• When remittances are received and posted before or after the payment, the A/R system must be reconciled. The MediStreams reconciliation solution eliminates the need for doing this manually by providing an automated match-up along with a worklist for manual review of your data.

Denial Management

• The MediStreams denial management module enables the user to see the original claim, the related remittance information and an appeal letter for the specific denial type on the same screen. The provider can then investigate and decide if they want to adjust and rebill the claim appeal the denial.

Reporting

• The MediStreams reporting tool will generate reports based on any combination of indices captured from the payment, remittance and claims. Using the MediStreams reporting capability, the provider can assess the reimbursement performances of different payers, procedure codes or business units.
