Reconciliation Module Added to MediStreams Vault
With increased levels of healthcare electronic payments, providers can now automate the reconciliation for all payers.
MediStreams recently launched a reconciliation module adding to their existing portfolio of products. eReconcile standardizes inbound payments and remittance files. The solution module matches Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) with the corresponding Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA).
The inbound workflow platform receives the incoming EDI 820 or NACHA file and compares the payment data to the received 835 ERA files, automating the reconciliation process. A series of business rules and logic are applied for reconciliation. Payments and remittances that match at 100% are processed and ready for download or transmission. Unmatched payments are presented on the secure web portal for future research. The portal provides easy to use tools for reporting on all reconciliation data, both pending and reconciled.
